Hi, I’m Tamara
My whole family are pharmacists. I grew up surrounded by people who believed in science, in precision, in doing things properly, so naturally, I moved to Brighton, got my Master of Pharmacy, and fully intended to spend my life behind a dispensary counter. That was the plan. A good plan. A sensible one.
The thing is, I’d always loved fashion. Not in a frivolous way, in a this is how I make sense of the world kind of way. So alongside everything else, I started a blog. I called it Glam & Glitter, I wrote about what I was wearing and why, and I told myself it was just for fun.
I never dreamt it would become my life. And then, slowly and then all at once, it did.
Hundreds of thousands of people started reading every month. Brands I'd only ever seen in magazines started reaching out. I found myself sitting front row at shows for Louis Vuitton, Fendi and Valentino, walking into New York, London, Milan and Paris Fashion Week as if that was a completely normal thing to do (which, for the record, it still doesn't entirely feel like). I've been on the covers of Cosmopolitan, Grazia, Elle, Marie Claire, Harper's Bazaar and more. In 2019, The Times named me one of the UK's top 100 influencers. And 2025 turned out to be a year I genuinely still have to pinch myself about: Harper's Bazaar gave me their Woman of the Year award, and I became the face of an Audemars Piguet campaign. Some years just surprise you.
Over the years, something I didn’t expect happened alongside all of it: a community of over a million people built itself around this little corner of the internet. People from all over the world, who show up every week, who write to me, who feel like friends even though we’ve never met. That part, honestly, means more than any award or campaign ever could. I am so grateful, every single day.
And then there’s Noa, my own wellness brand, built from scratch with my family of pharmacists. Years of talking about beauty from the outside in, and now finally doing something about what we put inside our bodies. That one feels the most like mine.
None of that was on the plan. All of it came from just writing honestly about something I cared about. And from the most extraordinary community of people who showed up and kept reading, kept watching, kept trusting me with their time. I don’t take that lightly. I never have.
Why Substack?
Instagram is for the moment. YouTube is for the story. Substack is for everything that doesn’t quite fit either, the thoughts that are too long for a caption, the details that deserve more space, and the honest version of what’s actually going on.
I’ve always felt that every platform has its own rhythm, its own purpose. And for a long time, I’ve been drawn to Substack as a place that feels… calmer. More intentional. A space to step away from the noise of the online world, to slow down, to read, to think.
That’s exactly why I wanted to be here. This feels like a place where I can connect in a different way, more personal, more direct, more real. Like writing to a friend who I know will actually read to the end.
No pressure, no performance, just me.
Why subscribe?
For years, I’ve been writing a Sunday’s newsletter and building a really beautiful community there. Now, I’m moving to Substack, a platform I’ve personally loved for a long time, and I’m genuinely excited to get to know this community here.
The Sunday newsletter isn’t going anywhere. It will always stay open and available to everyone who wants to read along. But alongside that, my team and I want to create something more, a new level of content that we can really dedicate time and care to.
For those who choose to subscribe, you’ll have full access to everything we’re building:
in-depth seasonal guides focused on the most wanted pieces: explained through what’s driving demand, how to wear them, and whether they’re truly worth investing in
curated wardrobe edits and capsule formulas, including styling “equations” for different occasions, so you always know what works
lifestyle guides
special discount codes I receive directly from brands and want to share with you
a more private chat space for our smaller community
bridal updates and behind-the-scenes moments from this year
and more personal insights, like the process of shaping my Monaco home, where we can go deeper and figure things out together
occasional community moments (live sessions, Q&As, little extras, podcast sessions)
It’s about creating space to do more, better.
If you’re here, you’re already part of it. And if you want to go a little deeper with me, that’s what the subscription is for.
